The iconic City Oval Ballarat, in the heart of the township is a redevelopment Pitchcraft have been proud to be involved in. In 2017 Pitchcraft were awarded the contract for the full realignment and reconstruction of the AFL oval. Including the removal of a historic fire track, this project had gained much community and local media attention. 

Home to the Redan Lions in the Ballarat Football League, the sports field redevelopment project included a new spoon drain, new drainage, new irrigation, 300mm growing medium and Santa Ana turf sod installation. With the club commencing home games on their new patch in mid April 2018, the elite standard of playing surface is set to be an advantage to the club all round.
