Designed to operate as a supplementary training venue for the Geelong Cats, these sporting surfaces required a Pitchcraft standard of construction to ensure the tick of approval from meticulous AFL club governing bodies. Pitchcraft completed the construction of both sports fields smoothly in cooperation with Civilex, the head contractor for the major redevelopment, despite being faced with a freak 1 in 100 year deluge which traversed across the field during the project. The natural sporting fields along with a range of other synthetic surfaces make up a state of the art sporting precinct to be used for athletics, soccer, basketball, netball, AFL, cricket and baseball.
